A couple of my non-political friends and I were discussing that WTAE spot where they showed my youtube spot about Fluke's "Boss" comment. Why did WTAE feel compelled to show it? There weren't any inaccuracies with what we showed- there was just a lack of Onorato's response. In fact, WTAE didn't show Onorato's response EITHER. Was it just a slow news night? Did they feel compelled to one-up us with their own footage? Or to show that they're "down with the underground"? Whatever it may have been- I'm not upset- but I was surprised. In addition, it made me realized how much better their cameras are- they must cost about $30-50,000 EACH. But more importantly, if I keep putting the stories up that they won't (even though they were there) will they put them up THEN? Is that all it takes to force them to talk about events that they wouldn't normally report on?
Just a thought.
